Office Tab promotes opening, viewing, editing various Office files in a single tabbed window, such as internet browsers – Google Chrome, Firefox and so on. It introduces the tabbed interface to Microsoft Office 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007, 2003 and Office 365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Project and Visio).
- Save All in One Click
A main benefit of Office Tab is that by consolidating your activities, you can save time! For example, if you have opened multiple files, you don’t need to save and close them separately; just press “Save All” from the context menu and save all your files. Would you like to close all files opened? Simply pick “Close All” and it will close all your files.
- Manage Documents in Groups
A saved Microsoft Office file can be added to a group in the Office Tab. You can open a set of documents or Excel files rapidly, and so on. You can readily apply the following activities to a group of files in Microsoft Office apps with this Favorites Group function.
- Rename Files Easily
To rename a file, you don’t need to open the “Save As” dialog. Just press on the Context Menu in the folder “Rename” and enter the fresh name of the file— it’s that easy! Select “Save As” from the Context Menu if you want to save the file to another folder.
- Displays Full File Name
Typically, if a file name is long, the Windows taskbar only displays a small part of it, which is often an issue. With Office Tab installed, however, you will be able to see the full name of the file on the tab bar, no matter how long it is.
- Useful Context Menu
To access the tab/tab bar context menu, right-click on a tab or tab bar. Office Tab also incorporates some popular Microsoft Office command items to allow you to access those items faster.
You can open various files in a single window using the tabbed interface. Within the window, each document appears as a fresh tab (not a fresh window) and can be accessed with a single click. This function enhances your effectiveness when working with programs from Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, Access and Visio).
- High Performance
The Office Tab is based on the normal add-in technology from Microsoft Office. It does not affect the normal application’s efficiency and has an incredibly tiny file size.
- Move Tabs
By dragging, tabs can be readily shifted. Using the mouse, you can switch between tabs or activate a tab by clicking Alt + N (“N” is the “1, 2, 3 …” tab command).
- Customize Tab Appearance
The tabs ‘ colors and the Tab Bar can be customized. You have to choose from 11 styles. Within each style, you can change the font style and name of each tab to fit your preference (you will have to close and restart Microsoft Office to apply these modifications).
